Amir Khan brings decades of experience in the networking industry and has a proven track record of forming teams to deliver products in both the Enterprise & Service Provider space. Prior to vIPtela, Amir was senior director of product management at Juniper Networks with P&L responsibility for Juniper’s Enterprise routing portfolio comprised of MX & M series.

At Juniper, Amir led Juniper’s foray into the Enterprise routing space with focus on Data-Center, Campus and Wide Area. Under Amir’s leadership, Juniper grew its Enterprise business to multiple 100s of millions of dollars in 3 years. Prior to Juniper, Amir was at Cisco and led their IOS routing software, Desktop switching and NG wiring closet strategy. Amir has also held multiple leadership positions in product management and marketing at Procket (core routing), Nortel (Accelar & Passport) and Bay Networks.

Amir has a MS degree in Computer Engineering from University of Colorado at Boulder. He is an avid squash player and has completed a Triathlon.
