Amr Shady is the Co-founder and CEO of Aingel, data science engineer and serial tech entrepreneur. He is an active board member of both Endeavor and TechWadi, non-profits leading the entrepreneurship movement around the world.

Prior to starting Aingel, Amr spent 17 years building, scaling and acquiring companies. He bootstrapped his first company at the age of 22, driving multi million dollars in annual revenue with only $50,000 in early stage funding. TA Telecom, a mobile services and data analytics provider, has been recognized as a Deloitte Technology Fast 500 company, a Red Herring Global 100 and dubbed by the Financial Times as a “local hero.”

Passionate about using technology for social good, Amr’s philanthropic work includes founding MegaKheir, a mobile donations platform that connects donors with tens of Egypt-based charities, and RefuKids, a humanitarian initiative aspiring to alleviate the suffering of children refugees.

He earned his MSc degree in Business Analytics from New York University, and BSc in Electrical Engineering from Canada’s Dalhousie University.
