Andrei is a distribution hacker-in-residence at 500 Startups, where he helps portfolio companies identify and execute on opportunities to acquire and retain users. Previously, he was chief marketing officer at Ring (IoT) and Viddy (mobile video). Andrei was the first marketing hire at Hulu, where he led customer acquisition for Hulu Plus, helping to grow that business to over 3M subscribers. Earlier in his career, he was VP marketing at MOG (acquired by Beats Music) and product manager at myFICO. He holds an MBA from The Walter A. Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkeley, an M.S. from Caltech, and a B.S. from Purdue University.
