Drew Murphy, Ph.D., joined Regeneron in 1999 as Director of Genomics and Bioinformatics. He was later named Vice President of Gene Discovery and Bioinformatics in 2001, Vice President of Target Discovery in 2005 and Senior Vice President of Regeneron Laboratories in January 2013. Dr. Murphy is a co-inventor of several of Regeneron's key technologies - VelociGene®, and VelocImmune® - and continues to lead several Technology Centers and Therapeutic Focus Areas. Prior to joining Regeneron, Dr. Murphy worked for seven years at Cadus Pharmaceuticals. He received his B.S. in Molecular Biology at the University of Wisconsin, and his Ph.D. in Human Genetics from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons.
