Ann Garrido is one of the directors of Kittelson and Carpo Consulting. She is responsible for the department’s business development and management of multiple immigration and legal compliance engagements.

She leads a team that helps in identifying the appropriate visa for their clients, including procurement of the necessary work visas and permits for foreigners to be legally allowed to reside, or engage in employment, whether short-term or long-term, in the Philippines. Projects that she and her team have handled typically include representation for 9a, 9d, 9g, 13a, 13e, 13g, TRV, Quota, SVEG, SIRV, SRRV, CEZA, SWP, AEP, and similar applications. Aided with fluency in the protocols of the BI, DOLE, PRA, BOI, PEZA, and similar agencies, Ann and her team know how to handle immigration concerns in the most cost-effective and timely manner, which spearheaded the department’s aggressive growth over the past years.

Prior to that, she was the manager for Business Registration and Compliance. She started with the company assisting foreign investors in setting up and keeping their businesses in the Philippines compliant with the Philippine government. She strategically managed multiple business registration and corporate housekeeping projects and immigration engagements at the same time. She is very well-accustomed to the internal procedures of each of the government offices and experienced in dealing with some of the most stringent. Because of this, she was able to proficiently represent various local and multinational clients before the SEC, BIR, and local government units.

With more than 8 years of combined experience working from the ground up, she has been building valuable relationships with government agencies, commercial institutions, and the business community. Earlier in her career, Ann was involved in the IT-BPO industry and in the real estate industry, where she handled residential landlord representation and property management in Metro Manila. She gained her BA Political Science degree from the University of the Philippines Diliman as a Dean’s awardee. Thereafter, she earned LLB units from Arellano University School of Law and is currently finishing her degree in Master of Business Administration from the Ateneo de Manila University and Regis Colorado University.
