Anthony Nader joined Mr. Schaufeld at NEW in 1990 as Chief Operating Officer. He was promoted to President and CEO and grew the company at a compound growth rate in excess of 20% per year for over 20 years. Over his tenure, NEW became the world's largest extended service provider for the consumer electronics and appliance industries. In 2008, he successfully merged NEW with Asurion to form NEW Asurion, where he is currently a Vice Chairman. Mr. Nader focused the organization on delivering high quality customer care, developing innovative solutions, creating strong client partnerships and on hiring, developing, and retaining extraordinary people. NEW was recognized by JD Power for providing "Outstanding Customer Service Quality," by the Northern Virginia Technology Council for having the "Hottest Management Team," and by both the Washington Business Journal and Washingtonian Magazine as providing one of the "Best Places to Work.Before joining NEW, Mr. Nader was Product Manager for extended service contracts at Progressive Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to Progressive, he served as Retail Banking Officer for Ameritrust Company, N.A.Anthony NaderManaging Director Mr. Nader serves on a number of volunteer and for-profit Boards. He currently serves as secretary of the Inova Health System Board of Trustees. He is the past chairman of the Inova Health System Foundation Board where he served since 2001. He serves on the boards of The Cranemere Group Limited, Arlington Asset Investment Corp. (NYSE:AI), Optoro, La Lumiere, BigTeams and is an active advisor for KIND. Mr. Nader is involved in a number of philanthropic, business, and community organizations. He is a partner in the Washington Nationals Baseball Club and a partner in Monumental Sports & Entertainment - which owns the Washington Capitals, Wizards, Mystics, and Verizon Center. He is a member of Venture Philanthropy Partners, The Economic Club of Washington, D.C., was a member of the Young Presidents' Organization and is currently a member of the World Presidents' Organization. Mr. Nader received his BS BA from John Carroll University and his MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
