Brent Belzberg has over 30 years of executive management experience in finance, operations and acquisitions. In 2001, Mr. Belzberg founded TorQuest and is currently Senior Managing Partner. TorQuest, based in Toronto, manages in excess of $700 million of private equity funds, principally in Canada. TorQuest and its predecessor Harrowston have managed over $1 billion of private equity capital with a focus on buy-outs and growth investments across a broad range of industries. Mr. Belzberg is a director of CIBC, Associated Brands, DayMen Lowepro, Herbal Magic and Global Traffic Technologies. He was previously a director of Four Seasons Hotels, O & Y REIT, CNC Global Ltd. (“CNC Global”), and GCAN Insurance Company. Mr. Belzberg is also a director of The Gerald Schwartz and Heather Reisman Foundation, Mount Sinai Hospital and Canadian Council for Christians and Jews. Mr. Belzberg received a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen’s University in 1972 and a J.D. from the University of Toronto in 1976.
