Dan Williams is a Partner at Delta-v Capital. He has many years of M&A and Technology experience in private equity, corporate development, and technology operations. Prior to Delta-v, Dan was an Associate in the Private Equity Group of American Capital (Nasdaq:ACAS) where he focused on control buyouts in the upper middle market space. At American Capital, Dan was involved in the acquisition of AAIPharma and the sale of Future Food Brands. Dan held active Board roles with ECA Medical, Dynojet, Pacific Handy Cutter, and Future Food Brands.

Previously, Dan led corporate strategy and M&A for Cisco’s Cloud and Analytics businesses as a member of the Corporate Development group at Cisco Systems. Dan’s technology career started in operations roles at Cisco Systems where he helped to start and grow Cisco’s Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS) as a Product Manager. Dan also developed software for Cisco’s Call Manager and VoIP phones. Dan holds a patent for an encryption and authentication algorithm used in low-power low-latency devices such as SCADA and RFID.

Dan Williams received his M.B.A. with Honors as a Palmer Scholar from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
