David Goel is Co-Founder and Managing General Partner of Matrix Capital Management, a $3.2 billion investment fund focused on technology and the life sciences. Mr. Goel is responsible for the firm’s day-to-day management. Prior to forming Matrix in 1999, he was a Member and Technology Research Analyst at Tiger Management. Previously, Mr. Goel was an Associate at General Atlantic Partners and an Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Winsor School and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA. Mr. Goel serves as a Director of Adaptive Biotechnologies, Bento Dental, nFerence A.I., Qrativ Biotech, and Zeno Pharmaceuticals and former Director of Popular Bank and Univision Communications. Mr. Goel attended Phillips Exeter Academy before graduating magna cum laude with a B.A. from Harvard University.
