Emily began her career in marketing at Nestle before moving to the world of beer at AbInBev. After working on globally recognisable brands in traditional FMCG businesses, she was looking for a more entrepreneurial environment, joining Deliveroo in early 2016. Deliveroo was launched in February 2013 in London by Will and his childhood friend and Co-Founder, Greg Orlowski. Will was the first rider - and he still delivers to this day. From that beginning, Deliveroo now employs over 1,500 people directly and works with over 30,000 riders who deliver from over 35,000 restaurants in over 200 cities across the globe. Emily’s role, team and marketing structure have evolved in line with this exponential growth. She is now Head of Marketing, UK & Ireland. As well as leading the development of relevant 360 multi-channel campaigns and media strategy globally, she is responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies across the business.
