Williams is one of the founders of the Sara & Evan Williams Foundation and has served as a member of the board of directors since May 2007. From October 2008 to October 2010, Williams served as our President and Chief Executive Officer, from July 2009 to March 2010, as the company's Chief Financial Officer, and from February 2008 to October 2008, as its Chief Product Officer.

Since April 2011, Williams has served as Chief Executive Officer of Medium, an online publishing platform, and since October 2006, as Chief Executive Officer of The Obvious Corporation, a technology systems innovator. Williams was selected to serve on its board of directors because of the perspective and experience he brings as one of our founders and as one of its largest stockholders, as well as his extensive experience with technology companies.
