Giovanni holds a Master Degree in Electronic Engineering at The University of Rome “Roma Tre”. He has obtained the certification for the engineering profession at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. During these years he deepened and developed many models for parameters optimisation and he started to apply artificial intelligence to the financial markets for time series forecasting. After many years of experience on international markets, trading on Stocks, ETFs, Futures, Forex and Options, in 2018 he obtained the CSTA title (Certified SIAT Technical Analysts) from SIAT (“Società Italiana dell’Analisi Tecnica) and holds the position of President of the Scientific Committee. From 2019 he is a Member of Board of Directors of IFTA (“International Federation of Technical Analysts”).

Working experience and publications
Giovanni began his career in Vodafone, within the Radio Frequency Engineering department, specializing in the topic of optimizing network parameters. After a few years of in-depth analysis in the field of quantitative analysis, he began operating on the main international markets. It uses experience in the field of neural networks and genetic algorithms for the creation of trading systems. He is among the best connoisseurs of many trading and development platforms such as Tradestation, Multicharts, Amibroker and Visual Trader, on which he implements trading strategies, indicators and operational filters. He has extensive experience in different programming languages as well, such as C, C ++, Ruby, Swift, Julia and Python, which he uses and teaches in the field of financial and engineering research and development. In 2011 he conceived and founded the G.A.N.D.A.L.F. (www.gandalfproject.com), within which he leads the research and development group specialized in the application of artificial intelligence to the world of quantitative finance. His main activity is that of trader and trading system designer, a subject on which he holds training courses, coaching and consultancy for individuals and companies. He has been a speaker since the first editions at the Investment and Trading Forum in Rimini, at the TOL Expo of Italian Stock Exchange “Borsa Italiana”, collaborates in training projects with banks, brokers and IT companies (Traderlink, Tradestation). Role
He will lead the technical and financial team to manage the company's investment portfolios. He will oversee a team of professionals to establish effective and well-organized investment processes and to build and manage the entire technological chain, based on thorough research and analysis. He will organize regular investment reports and reviews, including quantitative and qualitative portfolio studies. He will attend annual meetings, review quarterly financial statements and remain up-to-date with any important valuation or policy changes. He will help manage and uphold current and future client relationships.
