Greg believes in using his engineering skills for the greater good. Whether it’s working with his team reporting/machine learning on the Actionable Insights Team or helping local non-profits through Opportunity Hack, he believes if you aren’t using your brain to be the change you want to see in the world, you aren’t working hard enough. Growing up with Bill Nye and MacGyver influenced Greg to be analytical, beat the odds, and pull off the impossible. Today he uses these same guiding principles as a Software Samurai - focused, battle-tested, relentless. While working for PayPal over the last 7 years, Greg started working in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) as a Software Engineer, then joined the Technology Leadership Program (TLP) where he rotated every 6 months to a new PayPal location to take on new roles. After TLP, Greg started as a Software Development Manager for PayPal Credit, and for the last two years, Greg has been leading SRE: Actionable Insights focused on reporting and ML.
