Completed the Waseda University Graduate School of Science and Engineering in 1996 (Department of Physics and Applied Physics).
After engaged in large-scale system development as a system engineer at Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation and Nomura Research Institute, Ltd., he moved to Tohmatsu Environmental Quality Laboratory Co., Ltd. in 2001 and moved into the environment-related consulting field.
Joined the Japan Research Institute in 2007. Promoted numerous renewable energy, distributed energy and smart city related projects.
Also participated in digital grid related projects from 2015. Joined Digital Grid Co., Ltd. in 2018.
Appointed Director on August 23, 2019.
