2006 Graduated from Department of Mechanical and Information Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, The University of Tokyo. 2011 Completed doctoral program in Intelligent Machine Information Science, Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo. Ph.D. (Information Science and Technology). 2008-2011 Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (DC1). Since 2012, lecturer at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, Department of Creative Informatics. Since 2016, he has also been a visiting researcher at the AIST Artificial Intelligence Research Center. He is interested in cross-sectional recognition and understanding of images, moving images, and text media, and is engaged in research on multimodal data mining and machine learning methods and applied applications. PRMU Research Encouragement Award. He received the Information Processing Society of Japan National Convention Encouragement Award and the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers SI Division Award Young Encouragement Award.
