Jacob Knobel is a software engineer and entrepreneur who co-founded 12seconds.tv, an online video service for sharing short-form video moments online. He was also part of the team behind Rally Up which made mobile applications and was acquired by AOL in 2010. At AOL, Jacob served as Lead Software Engineer at AOL Mobile in Palo Alto and New York City working on products including Editions, Patch, and Clucks. Most recently, Jacob worked with the team at Tomfoolery creating apps for work until the company was acquired by Yahoo in January of 2014. Jacob now is a Senior Software Engineer at Yahoo in the Comms group.Jacob was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA graduating from the University of California, Irvine’s school of Information and Computer Science in 2008. He was previously a Co-Founder and Lead Developer of Sticky Inc, a startup that specialized in software for USB flash drives.
