Ms. Jane L. Peverett, FCMA, ICD.D. served as the President and Chief Executive Officer for British Columbia Transmission Corporation (BCTC) from April 2005 to January 15, 2009. Ms. Peverett served as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Corporate Services at British Columbia Transmission Corporation from June 2003 to April 2005. She has experience as the Chief Executive Officer of both gas and electric utilities. Her areas of expertise include Energy, oil and natural gas, Financial services and Utilities. In 2005, she received a PEAK award honouring women's excellence in the field of finance. She is also a Fellow of The Society of Management Accountants in 2003. Ms. Peverett studied Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University and a Masters of Business Administration from Queens University, together with a designation as a Certified Management Accountant and a Canadian Security Analyst Certificate.
