Joachim is co-founder and Managing Director, and GNA’s Head of Research at GNA Biosolutions. He is the core inventor of GNA‘s opto-thermal detection technology. As a fellow of the German National Academic Foundation (Studienstiftung), he studied physics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich, and did his PhD studies at the Chair of Photonics and Optoelectronics, led by Professor Feldmann. Joachim initiated the Nanostove project, which later became GNA Biosolutions. He has a comprehensive expertise in project and research management.
