Johan Wibergh has been Head of Business Unit Networks at Ericsson since July 2008. In addition, he was appointed Executive Vice President as of January 1, 2010.During the massive expansion of the mobile broadband market, Wibergh and his team have led dramatic growth in Ericsson’s networks business and launched the RBS 6000, the company’s groundbreaking multi-standard radio base station.Wibergh’s extensive experience at Ericsson has taken him to Brazil and to the US, and he has held various leadership positions in Sweden. During his career, he has been President of Ericsson Brazil, President of Market Unit in the Nordic and Baltic region, and Head of Managed Services.In Sweden, he serves on several boards of directors, including at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden; the Association of Swedish Engineering Industries; and the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise. Additionally, he is a member of the Board of Directors of ST-Ericsson, a joint venture between Ericsson and STMicroelectronics.Wibergh holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Linköping Institute of Technology in Sweden.
