John Brennan is a Partner at YL Ventures, is focused on investment due diligence, portfolio company value-add, industry research, expanding the firm’s U.S. platform, and various aspects of fund management.

John currently serves as a board observer of Vulcan Cyber (continuous vulnerability remediation), Axonius (unified visibility & control of endpoint devices), Karamba Security (embedded security for connect systems), Ride Vision (advanced driver assistance systems for two-wheeled vehicles) and Hunters.AI (autonomous threat hunting platform).

Prior to YL Ventures, John was at Data Collective, where he evaluated early stage investment opportunities and worked in an operating role, incubating multiple machine learning-driven startups, including Merlon Intelligence, an anti-money laundering compliance risk management platform. Before that, he worked on the investment team at OCA Ventures in Chicago, where he focused on early stage deals across various sectors.
