John F. Fairbanks has been Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since October 2006.

Prior to joining Aspen Aerogels, Mr. Fairbanks was a Senior Vice President of New England Business Service, Inc., or NEBS, and served as treasurer, chief financial officer and in several senior operating roles for NEBS during his tenure. Immediately prior to joining NEBS, Mr. Fairbanks was vice president and treasurer of M/A-Com, Inc.

Mr. Fairbanks holds a BA in Economics from Middlebury College and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
