John joined 3i in 2010 and focuses on originating and executing private equity investments across Business Services, primarily within the UK.

Deals he has been involved with include 3i’s investments in JMJ Associates and Element Materials Technology and the refinancing of the Mayborn Group.

Prior to joining 3i, John worked at Ernst & Young where he spent time in the M&A, restructuring and financial due diligence teams.

John is a Chartered Accountant and has a BSc in Economics from Nottingham University.
