Jorge Maestre is known as "the world’s strongest technologist" because of his rare combination of powerlifting and long-standing technical experience. He started on the customer side as a data center architect with an ASP before moving into sales. Jorge left the sales world to take on the role of evangelist for a small startup focused on a file and database solution. Eventually, Jorge returned to the world of block storage with 3PAR. Quickly working his way up from architect to subject-matter expert and then strategist, Jorge has gained a unique understanding of the storage industry that has forged his intimate understanding of the competitive landscape.
