Jules Maltz joined Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) in August 2008 and has over 10 years of venture capital and start-up experience. He focuses on later-stage venture investments in rapidly growing Internet and software companies. Jules led IVP's investments in Buddy Media and Dropbox and was actively involved in IVP's investments in LivingSocial, Marketo, Ngmoco (DeNA), Spiceworks, Sugar, Twitter and Yext.

Jules currently serves on the board of directors of Buddy Media, H5 and Yext. Prior to IVP, Jules worked for 3i, a leading global venture capital firm. He evaluated early and later-stage Internet, mobile and software investments, and he completed transactions for companies such as BlueLithium, Fotolog, Omniture (ADBE) and Trovix.
