Since 1990, JW has worked at KTB Networks for eleven years, where he was actively involved with investments in Silicon Valley based companies as well as domestic companies. Then he joined SLi in October 2000, in the year of its incorporation as a Head Investment Professional and later he was promoted to Managing Director and Division Head. As a fund manager, he dissolved SLI Fund 1 and 2 with the earning rates of 20% and 64% respectively and currently managing SLI Fund 10. His prominent track records for 22 years both in domestic and foreign companies show that he is a leading venture capitalist in Korea.

His major investments include many KOSADAQ listed companies such as, Homecast, ADP Engineering, Avaco, Plentinet, I&C Technology, Silicon Works, Sapphire Technology, Viatron, Avatec and more. His successful overseas investments include Alteon Websystems(NASDAQ) and Cypress Semiconductors(NASDAQ).

He graduated from Yonsei University with a BA in Business Administration.
