Karen Dahut, a Booz Allen Hamilton Executive Vice President, leads the firm’s Strategic Innovation Group (SIG), which was established in 2013 to develop and deliver innovative solutions to address complex client challenges. Booz Allen’s approach to innovation is solution-based, driven by the imperative to rethink client problems that are large-scale, complex, and important to the mission. By reimagining how things can be done, and applying those insights to real-world challenges, organizations can achieve new levels of performance and mission success. Ms. Dahut leads Booz Allen’s efforts to unite and invest in our unique and talented people, our passionate clients, the world’s leading innovation enthusiasts, and the industry’s leading product companies to create compelling, original innovations that solve our clients’ toughest problems.Previously, Ms. Dahut led Booz Allen’s Analytics capability, providing business, mission, performance, policy, intelligence, and operations analysis services to the firm’s government and commercial clients.Prior to assuming the leadership of the Analytics capability, she led the firm’s US Navy and Marine Corps business, involving staff and engagements in 25 locations worldwide. In this role, she led all aspects of strategic market development, execution, and business operations.Prior to joining Booz Allen, she was an officer in the US Navy and served as the comptroller for the Navy’s premier biomedical research institute. In addition, she worked for an organization that provided asset management and economic consulting services.She received a B.S. degree in business finance from Mount St. Mary’s University and an M.S. degree from the University of Southern California.
