Kaushik is currently working with a BITSian startup, www.e-gmat.com. He graduated from BITS Pilani Goa in 2012 with a bachelors degree in EEE. At BITS, he was involved with several extra-curricular activities.

He was the Head of Information Management at waves 2010 and the Event Manager for Carrom at Spree 2011, for which he invited the Arjuna Award winner Mr. Maria Irudhayam and world champions Mr. Yogesh Pardeshi and Mrs. I. Ilavazhaki to grace the occasion. He started as a team leader of the communications team in BITSAA. He likes reading, listening to music, cycling and trekking among other things.
