Ms. Marion J. Sears, BSc serves as an Adviser to the healthcare and private equity teams, particularly in mergers and acquisitions at PwC. Ms. Sears served as the Managing Director at JP Morgan in Healthcare Investment Banking until 2001.

Having started her career with Glaxo Group plc, Ms. Sears worked as a research analyst with Phillips & Drew, and then in corporate finance at Baring Brothers. Ms. Sears serves as the Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of Dunelm Group plc. and has been its Director since July 2004. She has been an Independent Non Executive Director of Octopus AIM VCT PLC since October 1, 2011.

She has been a Non-Executive Director of Persimmon plc since January 8, 2013, Fidelity Investment Trust - Fidelity European Values plc since January 17, 2013 and Prelude Trust plc since July 7, 2005. She serves as Non-Executive Director of Zetar plc. She enjoyed a successful career in investment banking before taking Non Executive Directorships with well known blue chip companies, including Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH, Dunelm Group Ltd. and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she serves as a member of the Corporate Finance Advisory Board.
