Martin is CEO of HSBC Turkey, a strategic growth business with a full spectrum of financial services provided by nearly 7,000 staff to over 3 million customers through 334 branches and a fast-growing direct channel.

Martin has over 20 years of experience with HSBC as an International Manager, where he has enjoyed a wide range of roles from retail and corporate banking to treasury and investment banking, in Australia, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Taiwan, Jersey and Turkey.

His last three roles have been most recently as CEO of HSBC's global Offshore business based out of Jersey, and prior to that as Deputy CEO both in Pakistan and Taiwan.
Martin serves on the boards of the Turkey Bankers Association and the Turkey – UK Prime Ministers’ CEO Forum, where he is also Co-Chair of the Finance Working Group. In Jersey, Martin was a founder member of the Jersey Financial Services Advisory Board as well as an active board member of Jersey Finance Ltd (JFL).

The international theme continues at home where Martin is married to an American and has two sons, born in Hong Kong and Pakistan.
