Michael Weintraub is a co-founder and managing partner of Ardan Equity Partners, where he focused on growth buyouts of healthcare software companies. He is the founding Chairman and a member of the board of directors of Phreesia. Previously, Mr. Weintraub served as Managing Partner of Optum Venture Management, a company focused on healthcare software. Mr. Weintraub was Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Humedica, a pioneer and leader in the the field of population health management and big data. After Humedica, Inc. was acquired by UnitedHealth Group (UHG), Mr. Weintraub broadened his role within UHG as President and Chief Executive Officer of Optum Analytics. Prior to launching Humedica, Mr. Weintraub served as Senior Managing Director at Leerink Partners, a leading healthcare investment bank. Mr. Weintraub also served as Chief Executive Officer of PharMetrics, a health care informatics company, which was acquired by IMS Health, now IQVIA Holdings

Mr. Weintraub currently serves as Chairman of the board of directors of BroadReach Healthcare, a global healthcare company, as member of the board of directors of Oncology Analytics, NewFire Partners, and The College Diabetes Network, and as an advisory board member of the Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator at Boston Children’s Hospital. Mr. Weintraub also focuses on healthcare innovation as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Harvard Business. Mr. Weintraub received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Brandeis University in Boston, Massachusetts and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts.
