Michael Winchell is an investor in Agingo and advisor on matters of market risk management, compliance and public exchange activities. He previously served as CIO and founder of Larkin Point Investment Advisors LLC. Larkin Point was advisor to the Larkin Point Equity Preservation Fund, a downside-protected liquid alt mutual fund, and from 2008 through 2013, he also served as CIO of VCL Asset Management, a global macro hedge fund affiliated with Mariner Investment Group. From 1999-2007, Michael was COO of Bear Wagner Specialists LLC, an equity and equity-options market-making firm. Michael began his career at Bear, Stearns & Co. in 1985 as a research director in mortgage-backed securities. He served as global head of risk management from 1991–1999 and also served on the firm’s Risk Committee, Credit Committee and Capital Committee. He was elected a member of the Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc. Board of Directors in 1997. Michael is an emeritus member of Columbia University’s Board of Visitors. He also serves as a member of the Finance Committee for All Star Code.
