Nick Augustinos is the senior vice president, Health Information Services and Strategy, where he is responsible for developing the company's strategy and presence in the information and healthcare analytics space.Augustinos has 27 years of broad managerial, consulting and business development experience in the private and public sectors. He has worked with a diverse range of leading healthcare delivery systems, healthcare insurers and government organizations globally. Prior to Cardinal Health, Augustinos was the senior director for Global Healthcare Operations at Cisco Systems, leading the company's go-to-market strategy for healthcare focusing on the public sector bringing business, technical expertise and thought leadership in the areas of connected health, wellness and care delivery. He had also served as the company's senior director for Global Healthcare Solutions of the Internet Business Solutions Group, the strategic consulting business unit of Cisco, where, among other initiatives, he led the Cisco HealthPresence™ development, Cisco's core care-at-a-distance platform. Augustinos serves on the board of directors of DexCom, Inc., a medical-device manufacturer of continuous glucose monitors and the board of directors for The SCAN Foundation, which has a mission to advance the development of a sustainable continuum of quality care for seniors. Augustinos holds an Industrial Engineering degree from Athens, Greece, a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from King's College, University of London, and a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
