Patrick has ten years experience with start-ups as either founder, investor, or executive and seven years experience in the market research industry specifically. In 2005, he was brought in to OTX Research to improve sample acquisition and matching technology. Within 9 months, key vendors were brought on and technology upgraded which added $1-2MM in EBITDA annually. In 2006, he started the Sample Services group at OTX which grew to $4MM in revenue in 2007. By 2008, merged with programming and hosting unit, RSX, with combined revenues of $7.5MM and led the growth up to $15MM (25% of total OTX revenue) and 30 FTEs. Ipsos announced its acquisition of OTX in January.

Previously, Patrick was the founder and VP, Operations of Sample Czar, a sample broker, where he built the core technology and brought on initial client sales pipeline. In 2003, Mr. Comer joined IFILM and founded the IFILM surveys group doubling their revenue in six months and created new vendor relationships.

Patrick got his entrepreneurial start in the halcyon days of dot-com. He was Chief of Staff of govWorks, an e-government startup, which raised $65M in the US. Patrick also started govWorks Europe and was responsible for marketing the 25 million pound raise out of London. govWorks is also known for the documentary of its rise and fall, "Start-up.com," in which Patrick has a few key scenes.

Mr. Comer has his MBA from Columbia Business School and Bachelors from Sewanee: The University of the South.
