Phil has initiated and designed key disruptive financial services technology companies and services. Companies he has founded have won numerous industry awards including the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 and The FinTech50 best innovation companies from 2014 to 2017. Phil was previously Head of Innovation and Chief Technology Officer at FNZ, Chairman and Co-founder of Ziglu (digital currency app), Co-founder of The Big Exchange - an impact investment platform supported by the Big Issue Group, and joint founder of Calastone, and CEO and Co-Founder of Zilo Technology.

He attended The University of Auckland and Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
