Reggie Chambers is Chief Administrative Officer of Chase Consumer Bank, leading all branch operations, branch real estate, ATMs, innovation, branch systems, policies & procedures, and our project management office. In addition, Reggie partners with technology, operations, and risk & control leaders to ensure branches and customers receive a best-in-class experience. Reggie was formerly the Head of Transformation & Innovation for the Consumer Bank, leading the implementation of our CB 2.0 strategy that is focused on positioning the bank to be more digitally oriented. He also led the branch systems, ATMs and Innovation Labs for Chase. Prior to JPMC, Reggie Chambers spent significant time in senior leadership positions in the private, public and social sectors and worked on more than $70 billion in transactions helping to structure, negotiate, valuate and invest in businesses domestically and internationally. Reggie has had significant customer facing roles in the private sector. While at McKinsey & Company, Reggie was a part of the Strategy & Corporate Finance practice focused on financial institutions and helped to establish McKinsey’s strategy execution and performance practice focused on helping clients to translate strategy from theoretical into actionable and measureable steps that are tied to financials and key performance metrics. Prior to McKinsey, Reggie was a founding member and Head of the North American Infrastructure team of 3i Group plc, a UK-headquartered private equity firm with $20 billion of assets under management. He helped lead 3i’s efforts to make equity investments in North American infrastructure and was a member of the board of Eversholt Rail Group, a ~$4bn UK rail company. Before 3i, Reggie was a Vice President on the Global Energy Investment Banking team of Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and began his career practicing corporate law with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and Uría Menéndez Abogados, S.L.P. in Madrid, Spain. Reggie has also spent considerable time in the public sector, recently helping lead the Clinton- Kaine Transition Team as a full-time Senior Advisor spearheading the redesign of the organizational structure of the White House and determining the selection criteria for the White House Chief of Staff. Reggie also was the Co-Leader of the Small Business Policy Working Group for the Hillary for America campaign. Previously, Reggie was appointed by President Obama as a White House Fellow at the White House National Economic Council (NEC), serving as a policy lead behind the Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act, which facilitates access to capital for small and high-growth businesses through mechanisms such as securities crowdfunding. The JOBS Act received more bipartisan support than almost any other substantive piece of legislation proposed during the Obama Administration (every voting Republican in the House and Senate voted in favor of the bill). Additionally, he helped lead the first-ever White House summit on financial capability and lead the White House Rural Council alongside Secretary Vilsack. Reggie earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his A.B. in Political Science, Spanish and Markets & Management from Duke University. Reggie is a former Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a member of Crain's 2015 class of 40 under 40.
