Richard Southwick, Senior Vice President, Technology, oversees Lending Club's technology development and operations while the company conducts a search for a new Chief Technology Officer.
Prior to joining Lending Club, Richard spent over 20 years in a variety of roles in engineering management, software engineering, and consulting services. He holds several patents in call center technology and is a published author, with a book and several papers on artificial intelligence to his name.
Richard holds a doctorate in computing from Imperial College of Science and Technology, London, and a MS in computer science and a BS in philosophy from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
