At age 20, Rishi Kacker co-founded Voltage Security in his dorm room at Stanford. Voltage uses a breakthrough in cryptography invented at Stanford (Identity Based Encryption) to protect sensitive information everywhere it goes. He built Voltage's engineering teams and propelled the company's technical vision, making it a leader in the encryption of emails, files, and databases, with over 600 enterprise customers. He won the grand prize in Stanford's annual BASES entrepreneurial competition and was featured by Businessweek in 2005 as one of the "Young Entrepreneurs of Tech" to watch.
