Rodolphe Barrangou is an Associate Professor of Food, Bioprocessing and Nutrition Sciences at North Carolina State University.

His lab focuses on the biology and genetics of CRISPR/Cas immune systems in bacteria. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Caribou Biosciences. Rodolphe was previously a Director of Research and Development at DuPont and Danisco.

While with Dansico, he was part of the team that initially established the adaptive immune function of CRISPR systems. Rodolphe received his PhD in Functional Genomics from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
