Sagar Anisingaraju creates strategic initiatives that lead Saama into emerging business areas with competitive differentiation. He enjoys his time spent with customers to understand their business problems specifically related to Big Data and to help them create data-products to solve them. Sagar is also instrumental in creating an internal culture of innovation and thought-leadership that embraces the need to rapidly change in the midst of the ever-expanding digital universe that we live in. He is the Chief Strategy Officer of The Year – 2013 award winner presented by Innovation Enterprise.

Sagar brings to Saama both depth and breadth of experience in the software services industry—his career spans PS, engineering, IT, marketing and sales. His recent work includes product innovation and vertical applications for the CIO office to manage the business value of IT and social GRC solutions for risk & compliance officers.

Sagar came to Saama through the acquisition of InfoSTEP, where he served as CEO for 11 years. Earlier, he was instrumental in helping MIC Electronics Ltd., the parent company of InfoSTEP, launch a successful IPO in India in 2007. Prior to that he worked at CMC Ltd. as International Manager.

Sagar has an M.S. from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, and a B.S. in Engineering from Andhra University in Visakhapatnam, India. He is a featured industry speaker and frequent industry association contributor. He has served on the boards of ISACA SV Chapter as Vice President and as Director.
