Sasha van de Water is a Managing Partner of Keyhaven Capital Partners, an independent London-based private equity investment firm. Keyhaven invests in European businesses with enterprise values typically less than €100 million. Keyhaven accesses these small cap companies through a combination of primary partnerships, secondary investments and direct and co-investments. Keyhaven’s global investor base includes insurance companies, corporate and public pension funds, endowments and foundations, and family offices. Since its inception in 2003, the firm has committed or advised on investments worth in excess of €1.6 billion.Sasha has over twenty years’ experience in the private equity markets. Prior to founding Keyhaven, she was a Managing Director at AXA Investment Managers where she was responsible for setting up and developing the European private equity fund of funds programme. Prior to AXA, she was with an affiliate of BT Alex. Brown, advising institutional and high net worth clients in the area of alternative investments. She previously worked as a consultant for Cambridge Associates, an investment consulting firm, in both their London and Boston offices.Sasha received a BA cum laude from Wellesley College. She is fluent in Dutch and English, and speaks conversational Italian, Spanish and Arabic.
