Seth started to get really interested in science after a high school experiment with sulfur bacteria and an astronomy class led by a passionate teacher with a flair for making learning fun and exciting. Since earning his bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the Rochester Institute of Technology, he has worked for both large and small businesses on a variety of projects. He has worked in a number of different fields since, including environmental monitoring, invasive species quarantine, renewable energy and pharmaceuticals.Seth is interested in the complex intricacies of cellular physiology and in helping to improve public science awareness. He is excited to bring his experience to the aid of JEI as it grows and nurtures the next generation of great scientists.
