Sumit Singh is the Chief Executive Officer of leading online pet destination, Chewy, Inc., based in Dania Beach, Florida, and serves on Chewy’s Board of Directors. Singh led Chewy through its IPO in 2019, raising over $1 billion. Prior to serving as CEO, a position he has held since 2018, Singh served as Chewy’s Chief Operating Officer. Before joining Chewy, Singh held senior leadership positions at Amazon and Dell for a combined nearly 20-year experience in e-commerce, technology, and retail. He earned a Master’s in Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and in 2019, Singh was inducted into the school’s Academy of Distinguished Alumni. He also earned an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.Singh has been recognized by Bloomberg where he was listed on their 2020 “Bloomberg 50,” which recognizes leaders who have changed the global business landscape over the past year.
