Tanzeen is responsible for originating and evaluating investment opportunities in the Internet, Software and Services sectors.

Prior to joining Great Hill, Tanzeen was a Vice President at General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm headquartered in New York City. At General Atlantic, his responsibilities included sourcing and evaluating potential investments, leading diligence efforts, executing transactions, and working closely with portfolio companies in the Internet, Software, Business Services and Energy sectors. While at General Atlantic, Tanzeen was closely involved in the following investments: MercadoLibre, Gavilon and C&J Energy Services. Previously, Tanzeen worked at J.P. Morgan Investment Banking in San Francisco focusing on the Internet and Software sectors.

Tanzeen received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History from Macalester College, where he graduated cum laude.
