From 2008 to 2010 Vaishali was Senior VP of Investment Banking at Macquarie Capital Advisors where aside from strengthening the investment banking franchise at the firm, she oversaw the execution of landmark transactions in the industrials sector.

Prior to joining Macquarie, she was Head of Investment Banking at Daiwa Securities in India from 2006 where she managed debt issues totalling USD 750 Mn and promoted the India franchise primarily to Japanese investors and corporate houses.

She advised EXIM, IRFC and ICICI amongst other leading Indian corporates.

Vaishali also lead Prudential's entry and business development efforts for setting up the Asset Management platform in Asian countries, including the development of an entry strategy for India.

She started her career with JPMorgan Securities in New York.
